This year, it is easier than ever to start a petition and build support for your cause.

Roughly half of the U.S. population came to Change.org to make a difference in 2021. Our users started 791,896 petitions that collected over 460 million signatures.

Thousands of petition starters achieved victories for individuals and entire communities, driving change both locally and on the national scale.

They rallied to save the innocent from execution, to get them released after decades served for wrongful convictions, and to hold law enforcement agents accountable.

They stood up for trans youth rights, fought discriminatory dress codes in schools, and made sure teachers and families could weather the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thanks to our members, we were able to support many of these remarkable people on their journeys.

We helped them develop campaign strategies, secure media coverage, organize protests, and get in touch with the people in power.

We launched a racial justice fund to empower communities of color across the country.

And we won’t stop here.

This year, we’ll continue to evolve the world’s largest nonprofit-owned tech platform for social change, and expand the support and guidance we offer to everyday people looking for the most impactful ways to advance important causes: demanding justice for victims of sexual assault, ensuring fair wages, improving animal welfare, keeping our communities healthy, and bringing more light into our lives.

Now is the time to use your voice. Sign or share a petition on a cause you care about, and go from passive observer to advocate. Or, start your own petition today. You have the power to make things better.
